Likely part of the Audible Originals for December 2019. They will not count against subscribers free two audiobooks per month, based on past pre-order deals.
If you see any other free titles for December, post below and I'll add them to this thread. There were several for November.
Summary 1: Holiday Greetings from Sugar and Booze is a music-filled holiday comedy starring Ana Gasteyer and Maya Rudolph, with a jolly cast including Patti LuPone, Rachel Dratch, and Richard Kind. In this heartwarming story of love and friendship, we follow the journey of "Sugar" and "Booze" as they go from inseparable college buddies to busy working moms who mostly keep in touch with each other, and their close friends and family, through annual holiday letters. Pulled apart by distance and their hectic lives, their friendship nears a breaking point. That is until one December, when everything comes to a head at their annual holiday fete. Can their friendship survive the holidays?
Holiday Greetings from Sugar and Booze features music from Ana Gasteyer's album sugar & booze, available now at sugarandboozealbum.com.
Summary 2: In 1912, scientist Marie Curie spent two months on the British seaside at the home of Hertha Ayrton, an accomplished mathematician, inventor, and suffragette. At the time, Curie was in the throes of a scandal in France over her affair with Paul Langevin which threatened to overshadow the accomplishment of her second Nobel Prize.
Gunderson's play about Curie and Ayrton's friendship is an ode to two remarkable women who, despite tremendous personal and professional obstacles, continued to devote their lives to scientific innovation and social change.
Sometimes Audible rewards attentive members with not only the choice of two free audiobooks every member gets, but also a brief chance to preorder several of the same audiobooks that will be part of next month's choose-two offer. If you preorder these (for free), you'll own them when the choose-two deal goes live, and you can choose from the others without losing these.
So, here's what's online now -- please post a comment if you see more!
I received an email today about returning customers getting 40% off for 3 month....and their website shows the offer in the top banner as well.
The Usual Fine Print:
Offer valid from October 7, 2019 12:00AM PT until October 13, 2019 at 11:59PM PT for U.S. customers only. Offer applies only to an Audible Gold monthly membership sold by audible.com. For the first 3 months of your Audible membership, you will be charged the discounted price of $8.95/mo. After the first 3 months, your Audible membership will continue until cancelled at the then current full price (currently $14.95/mo.)
Hate the idea of reading the Mueller Report? Not your thing? Well, no more excuses! Now you can Listen to it. Audible has the report as an audiobook, professionally read by various actors for #FREE! No membership needed!
Current Subscription required (paid).
If it's the after release and on/after the first Friday of a month, you may end up using a "Free" credit on it (One of Two you get for free with an Audible sub; dependent on if the title is part of the month's titles).
If you pre-order, you will be charged the price you pre-ordered for: 0.00 as of post.
I'm not saying these are the next month's free selections, as right before the date the titles may not be ready for release, getting shifted months ahead (e.g. Wild Heart of Stevie Nicks and Sakina's Restaurant).
Received an in app notification from Audible for a free trial if I returned. 30 day trial, starting with 2 free audible credits (only 1 if you don't have a Prime membership FYI) and 2 free audible originals. Basically the same deal as they currently offer for new customers, but don't need to go through any hassle of making alternate accounts or anything.
From what I can tell this must be done in app - there was a large banner when I opened it. I'm assuming this was targeted, but perhaps anyone who has had an account in the past and cancelled is eligible.
